KIS Golf Varsity Captain
Whenever my parents talk about golf, they always say:"Daniel, you started playing golf earlier than Tiger Woods."Thanks to my golf-loving dad, I picked up a club before I was 2 years old and went to the golf course for the first time when I was 5.
Throughout elementary and middle school, I consistently played rounds with my family, but it wasn’t until I joined KIS that I started playing golf seriously. In the first semester of 10th grade, I tried out for the newly established golf team and was selected as a representative player. Since then, I have participated in various matches both individually and as part of the team.
In 2024, the KIS golf team was promoted to Varsity, and I was appointed the first-ever captain.
The more I play golf, the more I realize how perfectly suited it is for me. It not only offers a variety of charms but also teaches valuable lessons.Through golf, I have gained patience and perseverance, a sense of personal achievement, the habit of self-improvement, thorough analysis skills, mental toughness, responsibility, and respect for others. Golf has a unique power that motivates me to set new goals and challenges for myself.
