A Socket for Using Various Sizes and Types of Batteries
Second Place, Public Procurement Service Innovative Demand Idea Contest (2024)
Invention Purpose
-
Many everyday products that require batteries can only use specific sizes and types. This limitation often leads to situations where mismatched batteries necessitate purchasing new ones. I have developed a solution that allows compatibility among different battery types, regardless of size or form.

Expected Benefits
-
This innovation enables users to utilize their existing batteries without needing to buy various types.
-
While my initial tests focused on AA, AAA, and button cell batteries, the design can be adapted to include larger batteries like coin cells.
-
Implementing this in devices with battery sockets will alleviate the stress of battery shopping, allowing users to fully utilize all their batteries, including those that remain without a suitable application.

Aquarium with a Built-in Separation Box for Easy Cleaning
Bronze Medal, Korea Invention Promotion Association Creative Contest (2022)

Invention Purpose
-
Cleaning an aquarium typically involves the hassle of relocating large rocks, aquatic plants, fish shelters, and the fish themselves. This process can be inconvenient and often results in significant water spillage, requiring additional cleanup afterward. I have developed a practical solution that allows for a neat cleaning of the aquarium without needing to move the decorations or the fish separately.
Expected Benefits
-
The aquarium can be cleaned easily and efficiently, even with many decorations still inside.
-
This method facilitates the convenient storage of aquatic animals during cleaning.
-
Additionally, it minimizes water spillage, resulting in a clean and tidy aquarium after the process.

Foldable No-Parking Pole

Invention Purpose
-
To prevent others from parking in designated areas, no-parking cones or signs are typically installed. However, the inconvenience arises from the need to move and store these cones or signs whenever parking occurs. This led me to devise an invention: a foldable no-parking pole that can be securely fixed in place and used only when necessary.
Mailbox with Digital Notification Board

Invention Purpose
-
In high-rise apartments, mailboxes are typically located on the first floor, and they may also be positioned in areas away from the main entrance. When residents use the elevator to go directly from the underground parking garage to their homes, they often face uncertainty about whether they have received any mail, making it inconvenient to check. To address this issue, I came up with the idea of creating a system that allows residents to easily and intuitively check for mail while walking towards the underground parking lot, leading to the development of this invention.
Automatic Ventilation Window Responsive to Fine Dust Levels

Invention Purpose
-
Enjoying fresh air every morning is a delightful experience, but fine dust can negatively impact indoor air quality and health. While devices can measure fine dust levels, frequent checks can be inconvenient. To address this, I have developed an intelligent window that automatically opens for ventilation when air quality is good and closes automatically if the fine dust levels are high when you go outside.
