Actor and Performance Director

The theater production club was my third choice for a Friday club. However, since I transferred late, I didn’t have the opportunity to choose as early as the other students, so I ended up in that club. Initially, I wanted to take on a backstage role, but I mistakenly thought that only actors could join. During the interview, I timidly expressed a desire to act. My shyness unexpectedly led me to a new challenge.

 

My first performance was in the musical The Addams Family, and during rehearsals, I met people with diverse personalities and backgrounds. The joy of creating something together and the sense of belonging I felt for the first time at school were incredibly comforting. The applause and cheers from the audience after the performance brought a sense of achievement and exhilaration that only those who have stood on stage can understand.

 

The theater became a turning point in my high school life, giving me the courage to take on new challenges. For three years, I continued to love theater and participated with passion.
